HACCP certification of smoking chips is the mandatory prerequisite for compliance with food standards during the entire smoking process. JRS produces RÄUCHERGOLD^® smoking chips in a closed, certified production system, in accordance with HACCP and DIN EN ISO 9001. The exclusive use of fresh, untreated wood from PEFC-certified forestry is the basis for complete traceability. Special high-temperature drying processes, continuous analysis, monitoring and strict quality controls, certifies freedom from pollutants, heavy metals and pesticides.

Precisely matched particle sizes and narrow grain spectrums, guarantee optimum smoke production at a defined smoldering temperature. Further, they contribute significantly to limit values of carcinogenic substances, especially PAH values, to ensure smoked foods can be safely complied.
