How do we Define 'Fibers' at JRS?

In everyday language, the term 'fibers' tends to be associated with the textile sector (spun/staple fibres). In the technical world, however, the term is more broadly defined: a distinction is made between endless and length-limited fibers, or chemical/artificial fibers, or natural fibers.

In contrast to the textile industry, JRS plant fiber technology focuses on short fibers (5 to 2000 µm), which are usually in powder form.

JRS relies on renewable, plant-based raw materials that are processed in different steps. Plant-based raw material sources: different types of wood, celluloses obtained from them, fruit, vegetable and cereal plants, algae, etc.
